On October 17, the second eight-week session begins at Hill College. Registration is open. Current and prospective students should enroll now to secure their spot.

The next Hill College Basic Peace Officer Academy will start October 17 as well at the Hill County Campus in Hillsboro. Completion of this 23-credit-hour program prepares graduates to take the TCOLE licensing examination to become a Texas Peace Officer.

The eight-week semester is also a great way for current students to add another class to complete core curriculum requirements, such as English, government, history, music, psychology, sociology, and speech. Opportunities to complete a lab science requirement are also available during the condensed semester.

Newly added to the Cleburne Technical Center for the second eight-week semester is a Job Search Skills class (POFT1220), which is an important requirement of most technical programs.

In addition to in-person classes, Hill College continues to offer a variety of online and hybrid course options to meet each student's needs.

For students recently or currently enrolled in classes, no application is needed. Simply register online via the student portal or schedule an appointment with your academic advisor at your local campus by emailing advising@hillcollege.edu. New students should complete an application to get started.

Financial aid is available; email finaid@hillcollege.edu for information. Visit hillcollege.edu for more information on all courses and career pathways. For general questions, call 254.659.7500.
